This may work well if the lights are tinted also. Filing in the entire space to essentially make the headlights disappear is the only way to not see them.Going to take the plunge and give this a try.
I've ordered the black vinyl online for $30 + $45 for the Abstract Ocean light bar vinyl and am going to give this version a shot.
Have used photoshop to play with this since I got the truck a year and a half ago to try and come up with something to break up my all white front end, but hated each version I came up with.
This is the first one I think might actually not look bad in real life and possibly even somewhat factory like?
So, going to give it a try. What do I have to lose, $75? Easily worth it and more so if I like it and keep it. Otherwise, it's just vinyl, can be easily removed if I don't like it.
I'm not great with vinyl or PPF, but did PPF my front end and it came out well. Thinking this should be doable? Plan is to line up one of the straight edges of the vinyl roll I get with the bottom of the headlights. That will already be perfectly straight and require no cutting above a painted surface. Then will just need to cut around the headlights and the light bar. The light bar strip will be a separate piece. I think I can do it!! LOL. Maybe! I think I can, I think I can.......
