2) My passenger seat phone isn't straight.
Answer: The bowl is bigger! Now both phones can be straight and the camera bumps don't interfere with placement at all. (I also took into consideration the new sizes of the upcoming iphone 16 pros and their increased sizes.)

We definitely have this issue with two iPhone 15 Pro Max’s! My wife’s can never line up and charge properly when mine is on the driver’s side. Count me in for the upgrade plate replacement!

Yup...this is the only reason I may upgrade. Even just a 14 Pro (non-Max) has to be at an angle on the passenger side to work.

I ran into a guy that does some of the injection molds for Rivian at a Kansas City Rivian club meeting. I could dig around here for his business card if you would like. They are in mid-Missouri where labor costs are low, so I would guess they should be cost competitive.

Yes please. I wouldn't mind reaching out. We don't produce enough for the several thousand dollar tooling costs. But if they have a way of making the tooling costs more costeffective... maybe it will work. Mind you at this moment I am making everything in relation to the charger, including soldering, flocking, varnishing, lasering and 3d printing.

Looks great! Was trying to find this a few days ago and couldn't find the link. This is only for iPhone/MagSafe, though, right? I'm probably one of the only people in the world who the factory wireless charger works well for, I just want a bigger "bowl" for chapstick and small items like that. ?

Android works fine with magsafe. Depending on your phone it may not have the magnetic locking ring. If you want that feature you can snag a case that has it or add it to your phone.

So if I just lay it on top of a MagSafe pad it will charge? Or do I need a case with one of these circle thingamajigs in it? Sorry, not familiar with Apple stuff at all. ?

Yup it will charge. But if it doesn't sit nicely it won't charge.

The rings help a lot.

As a heads up: the upgrade will cost $69 dollars. We will need your original purchase order and we will send you a one time code or link for the upgrade. We will not include the circuit board charger with the upgrade. (You have to use the one that came with our og charger. It will be the flocked base and the varnished veneer. Everything is one piece now)
