I was gone for a week and lost 3%. Recently it seems like 1% per day was this consensus. Mine was left in my garage so no gear guard running.

I’m 6 days into a 8 day trip. The app says I lost 4%. That is better than my historical average. Software 46.01. In a MN garage so it’s a wee bit cold right now.

I left my R1T for 24 days and during that time it lost 56 miles of range (2.3 miles per day). It was parked outside in Southern California and temps averaged in the 60s.

I left mine for 7 days over the holidays and came back to a 4% loss (no gear guard running). #happy

Gear guard? Cold weather?
50-60F garage, no gear guard. proximity off at home. i do notice that every time i walk by the car it wakes up. you can hear the clicks and beeps as it powers on. no idea why especially when the doors are always unlocked while in the garage too

In settings there is option for parking at home that will keep the car from waking; keep locked or unlocked at home, or something to that effect.
Solved that problem for me.

yep, there is a proximity lock setting > lock/unlock, lock only, off. i have mine set to off. car stays unlocked and handles presented while at home. however it doesn't truly fall asleep because sometimes when walking by the car when in the garage it starts up with clicks and beeps as if it's booting up. leads me to believe it isn't in deep sleep

i lose 4-5% every night the car sits. consider yourselves lucky
Did the new update help you? It mentions fixing a very rare issue related to 4% daily drain.

Vampire drain is a thing of the past for me…
I left my T for 6 days…lost 4 miles….irrelevant in my book.
clearly Rivian has been slowly and quietly improving this over the past year

- gear guard off
- proximity off

seems to help! i wrote down yesterday that at noon i had 65%. i have not touched the car or refreshed the app since then, but have walked past it many times. opened app just now and its at 64%. garaged car with proximity off at home and gear guard off. ambient temps were about 50F last night and mid 60s during the day. not bad, but not great still considering my other 2 EVs lose not a single % overnight and one sits outside

Mine sat for 8 days with gear guard on and lost 21 miles of range. This has been the norm for me for over a year and the same as it was before gear guard was released. SoCal “winter” weather conditions.

Because the truck told you it only lost 4mi range over 6 days, that only means that's what the truck is telling you....

Charge to 80%, let truck sit for 6 days, plug in and let it recharge back up to 80%.. read the energy supplied by your EVSE then tell us what the actual loss was. Rivian has not solved vampire drain, they have just hidden the actual numbers.

something is wrong with your vehicle or you have proximity on at home and your fob or phone is waking the vehicle frequently. you should not be losing more than ~1.5% in a 24 hour period, and definitely not overnight. Even that (based on the battery size) is a large amount of energy to just disappear ....
