Nah, Quebec.

Yeah the prairies are cold, but I do think it's still a better than most think. It's not nearly as cold as you make it seem.

You’re citing averages. An average temperature means nothing to me when it’s -35 for two weeks solid.

It is as cold as I “make it seem”.

Ok, 2 weeks at -35 all day, sure, I'll give you that because that's not the point. Judging by the average it means low temperature heat pumps can be used there most of winter, contrary to what you said and having one is much better than not. What is left to be seen is at what temperature Rivian heat pump works at if they ever put one in (unlikely for the first few years I think, but they absolutely should).

Don’t underestimate how boring I can be. ?

My Grand Cherokee is gray. My Model 3 is Blue though.
Granite Gray Grand Cherokee here, but with a Red S4 garage mate.

I've experienced the -40C temps of central Alberta Manitoba for about a week during a vehicle development trip. Thompson to be specific. Lakes frozen so thick they're used as roads and plowed for several months of the year.

Minor correction, Thompson is in Manitoba. A family friend owns the Ford dealer there(and leases other property to Ford‘s winter proving grounds). When he lived up there he had…a mustang convertible. ?

Fun fact; Thompson is as far North as you can go in Manitoba on pavement.

I never said having a heat pump was worse than not having one. I did point out that they are less effective when it is very cold.

I swear if I don’t see RJ and @Rivian driving Kyle, @skyote , and @jimcgov3 around in his bed over Mt. Rivian, I’m cancelling my order. Those three have been their best spokesmen for a long time now.

You’re givin them big heads. literally!!

deservedly so. I actuslly found these forums through them. Great place to start a habit…

They absolutely deserve some kudos for the dedication and helping me get my weekly fix.

Keep up the good work Kyle, Jim and Skylar. Your efforts don’t go unnoticed or unappreciated.

Finally home after a night out and getting a chance to check out Rivian's story from earlier. One thing I noticed are that the spot lights in the side mirrors that I pointed out back in April are still on the most recent builds they had on display during the round table discussion. It makes me hopeful that little Easter egg makes into the production vehicles!

So many well thought out details on these machines. Looking forward to poking around one in person

I'd pay money to see them invite @skyote to the factory and then hand him the "key" to a Canyon Red saying "sorry this is all we have for you to test drive!"
I'd beat it like the Longhorn football team, and I just hope the color wouldn't make it have trouble running worth a darn.

Either the photographer has impeccable timing, or that amber turn signal was steadily on for some reason. Great daylight photos all the same.

maybe high speed continuous shooting on a DSLR or Mirrorless camera. Selected the best shot from each burst.
