Received my email and went ahead and canceled my A2Z order.

I ordered an a2z on 3/26. I need it for a June road trip and no way will I have the Rivian one by that. I figure I'll keep the a2z as a backup long term. Peace of mind.

I ordered the A2Z because I bought my R1S from a private party. Figured I wouldn’t even get the email for the adapter. But hey, good to know I did and will have one sooner or later.

I’m sure A2Z has a ton of orders but seems that Rivian is going to take awhile for theirs to ship out.

You don't live in Wisconsin clearly.

Some states have terrible CCS infrastructure. For me, with young kids, 5 hours is as long as I can travel and I believe I gave 8 hour travel covered in any direction. Always have the wife's ICE vehicle and charging isn't cheaper on long trips.

I just got my email yesteday at 2:30pm California time. I had an early less than 1000 R1T and updated to new deal last Jul at approx 24,000 Vin to take advantage of additional tax credits etc than made an updated R1T basically free. Not sure if the line startsif from earliest VIN or original order or my approx 7 moth old current R1T. I expects Tesla is helping coordinate the adapter so I expect the rollout will be faster than in past since larger suppliers will be covering adapters for Ford, Rivian and others. Tesla makes money when it's chargers are fully burdened so I am hoping it will only be a couple weeks since in Tesla and Rivian's interest to go fast on this.

That said, my estimate and $1 will currently only get you a cheap cup of coffee. We shall see.

I'm vin 18XXX and don't have much confidence in getting the adapter this year. I assume all OEMs are getting inventory for the same source. Supply will be tight. I'll order the Lectron before my next road trip and sell the Rivian one when it eventually comes.

In the same boat with vin 18XXX and have ordered the Lectron adapter. And that is a good idea to sell the Rivian one once it comes.

Chatted with CS. They informed me if I do not receive an email by Monday to contact them again. I asked if the adapters will be shipped out in order of when you received your vehicle or when you received the email to verify if you want an adapter. CS stated, "It should be when you received your vehicle."
