Anyone have a good solution for mounting recovery boards not on the roof for an R1S - meaning truck bed solutions aren't applicable here.

They fit nicely in the frunk.
Yep, my Rhino USA boards came with a bag which makes them easy to stow. They fit nicely in the frunk with room to spare.

Tie them to the hitch and write "Just Married" on the liftgate window

I have some BuiltRight Industries Molle panels holding them to the back wall of the bed

This defeats the purpose of recovery boards which is to drive around with them on your rig 365 days a year so everyone knows you are a serious off-roader.
Along with your adventure rack and RTT that have zero scratches or dirt on them.

That said, I want to mount my boards on the cargo bars so I can look cool easily access them.

Thanks? for the suggestions? guys?
When I couldn't fit them under the panel in the trunk, I didn't even think about the frunk - mainly because of all the junk in there already.
So I removed:
- Two baseball gloves
- One soccer ball
- Two footballs
- Pickleball paddles
- One rugby ball
- One basketball
- One rain jacket
- Three reusable grocery bags
- One ice scraper
- One toolbag
- One beach towel
- One tire gauge
- One almost empty bottle of windshield wiper fluid
- One pair of golf shoes

And then I put in the recovery boards.

Mine are in the back of the frunk, vertical, across. Other stuff is in front.

Trivial to take out when needed. A bit more of a pain to put back in. But I can toss them in the back until I have time to repack.
