Turning off Dynamic Sound Adjustment helps to reduce the overall volume level but it still doesnt completely adjust it to what it prior to update 2024.27.01. imo, its a bug and wont be fixed until the next update. hopefully rivian sees all the feedback from customers and does adjust it. leave feedback via the mobile app if you haven't already.

Have you tried a soft and/ or hard reset?

Is it just me? Volume 1 is too low to hear. Volume 2 is in your face.

Anybody experience the same thing?

Anybody have a solution?

Thanks
I agree! Also, as others have suggested, do the following: turn off 3D Surround, Turn off Dynamic Sound, adjust fader from neutral to mostly rear.

Compared to Teslas the Rivian audio is much improved and I prefer it louder than lower and have made my own personal EQ adjustments.

Yup, same here unfortunately.
I complained about it since I got my truck.
Had to learn to live with it

I now have this issue, but it only started this weekend and was not immediately after I updated. I updated several weeks ago and the audio quality improved at that time, and the comfortable volume was 4 to 9 depending on audio source, driving speed, etc. This was with Dynamic Sound On and 3D off, as it has been for a year.

On Sunday, I was driving at highway speed and the audio was at 4 or 5. The passenger in the 3rd row asked me to turn down as she wanted to tell me something so I dropped it to 0. When I turned the volume back up, I got the 1 too low, 2 too loud issue.....????

Totally agree with you. But I will try some of the suggestions listed here. One, too soft too too much in your face. Needs a 1.5.
