You won't be sorry to have the A2Z. It's solid, like a brick. From videos I've watched on the Tesla-made adapter, it sounds like a Fisher Price toy in comparison. I would almost rather keep using the A2Z and just keep the official one for sake of compliance.Glad to hear the A2Z is working. I'm going to order one. It makes sense to have both.
I took the whole month of August basically off (I'm paying for it now ?) to drive from Newport Beach to the UP in Michigan with my dog. I've done this trip before, and it went quite smoothly, but it REALLY would have been nice to have the adapter. There were a couple of annoying EA situations (slow charging, some plugs not working, switching around to find the best plug.....) that I think all of us are familiar with. A couple of times I might have gone over to Tesla chargers if I had the adapter. The expanding RAN network made things easier than last year, that and the fact that I was able to find hotels with chargers just about every night, but the ability to use Tesla would have
been helpful.
