I think this is awesome! I always loved Knight Rider....and The Hoff is next level cool....and team up with Rivian (i.e. Rivian paid whatever it took to ge this to happen) is really cool.

And even if G1 is not included...I still love it as I feel this kinda stuff sells trucks...

No we aren't getting CarPlay because I personally asked RJ to never include it just because it makes you angry.

I love stuff like this. These fun little things are what separate Rivian from everyone else. It's great that they offer this for free, but as many others have said, I would pay for skins. I'm not sure they would allow them with updates, though; how do you keep them able to work while you're regularly changing the GUI?

I would personally pay 20-30 dollars a month to have a skin pack that I can keep on while driving. It couldn't be as comprehensive as these costumes are. They could still have themes.

I have done the app update and the software update Rivian R1S. I don’t see any of the Halloween features. Any suggestions?

You need to wait until midnight local on 10/18 and then should be available

Skin packs you could use while driving would be fun for sure. Star Trek, Star Wars, (these 2 alone could have so many with different ships) Knight Rider, Back to the Future, analog old car, train, plane, etc

A Cessna 172 would be fun. That's what I learned to fly in.

what is this DVD you speak of????

Only on the DVD long enough to decrypt to the computer using MakeMKV, compress to H.264 using Handbrake, then load into my personal Plex media library. Private cloud for the win on streaming media and never having a company decide to remove your favorite content from their media library or move it behind a different paywall.

I never play videos directly from Blu-ray or DVD media. I just use it to acquire the content to load into my library. After import, the optical media just collects dust on the shelf.
