I just got home from a trip (Rivian stayed home) and was able to do a quick test. Got in and Apple Music played since I was connected to my home WiFi. I turned Wifi off, music stopped and a popup appeared about signing up for C+. I switched to my iPhone WiFi and music started again.

Any Gen1 owners without Connect+ still waiting for the update? Our Gen2 (with Connect+) got it 3 days ago, and radio silence so far for our Gen1 (with Connect-).

Same. My hatred of AT&T far exceeds my interest in these things though. Just wish we had a better idea as to what Rivian is doing.

While this may not apply to most, I had my 12 volt battery replaced this morning. And technician made it so I get the update earlier, according to him, it has 12 volt battery related improvements.
Installing now…

Go into your Garage door settings and either re-trigger the location option to off/on or reset the home location / re-learn.

That will bring it right back.

Should not need to reset, just triggering the switch for easy access off/on cleared it up for me.

Paid The Man for C+ and got the update.

Fixed: GPS and red battery exclamation (that they broke on 2024.35)

Broke: Drive Cam can’t read memory stick that has worked for months. Both resets and multiple tries to setup again. None worked.

They are struggling with these bugs.

I am also having issues with my older memory stick. Car doesn’t even sees it plugged in now.
But NVMe type SSD still works.

Check your update menu in the car. Been wondering about mine too and i noticed .31 was there waiting for a manual install. I didn’t get any prompts from the app or the car.
