My wife got her update a couple nights ago after paying connect+, I hadn't even gotten notification until today that mine expired. No update pushed to my truck yet and I took delivery before she did last year.

So that said, I dunno what's going on. I'm on Wi-Fi now, have reset the truck and still nothing. I won't be subscribing to connect+ though.

Well it looks like over 70% of the fleet on electrafi.com has received the update. I haven’t received it yet (almost constantly on WiFi at home) but also haven’t subscribed to Connect+ so I figured there would be a delay. I wonder what the breakdown is right now of Connect+ subscribers vs non subscribers and who has recovered the update. I wonder if Electrafi has that data point?

Good question on the breakdown. Overall I'd assume people on electrifi are enthusiasts, so the bulk of those are subscribed.

No C+, no update yet. Looks like Rivian going to make us have FOMO with the Halloween car costumes starting before we get the update.

Have C+ and still no update. Maybe the update will come when I get my NACS adapter and google cast, lol. Holding breath

Did reformatting work? This has been an ongoing issue for me throughout multiple updates. Usually resolves after removing the drive and reinserting, sometimes take full sleep cycle, or the occasional reset. But nadda this time. :(
Ok - I resolved my issue!

I’d been using a Samsung micro SD endurance card (used for security cams, etc) … could read it fine on a PC but the Rivian just wouldn’t take it after this last update. Had issues a couple updates ago, and one error that said it wasn’t fast enough. Nothing other than ‘EETS BROKE’ as an error screen this time. (Cannot read storage device)

Finally grabbed another USB-C Storage device I had (Samsung 256gb stick) and BAM! Immediately worked and Drive Cam is back online.

So, either the endurance SD card was toast, too slow, or suddenly non-compliant, but the other USB-C stick immediately worked.


So, try a different storage device, see if you have success.

I have a service appointment scheduled soon. Hope they can fix it. For now no Halloween spooky fun for me.
First available appointment over here is end of November. Seems like a long time to go without GPS…

I am feeling left out as well! On wi-fi but not subscribing to stinkin' C+. Grumble.
