I hear that Rivian has decided not to continue the roll-out of the Halloween update to those who have chosen to not subscribe to Connect +. Instead, in mid-November, non Connect + folks will get a Squanto themed update, complete with a festive Horn of Plenty, in consolation.

I installed .31 the other day on my gen 2 R1S and the app shows the costumes again but nothing happens on the vehicle when I activate them. Software glitches are the thing that make me the most nervous about this vehicle, especially when out in the middle of nowhere. I would much rather wait longer for features if the software is more stable.

You guys are on your *second* 2024.39.x? Damn, that's annoying. I'm still on 2024.35.0.

I get that Connect+ subscribers are supposed to get SW sooner, but these Halloween themes are *not* gated behind Connect+, and they're limited-time. Why am I still waiting for this? It would be nice to enjoy the Halloween themes for the full duration.

I understand the concept of rolling wave updates, but I don't understand why it takes days or even weeks for some users to receive an update. There are not that many Rivians on the road. It should not take this long to get an update!

Got mine a few hours ago- Gen 1 May 2023 no connect+. Not too impressed with the exterior lights (no sounds) but the interior screens/sounds are interesting albeit the color changes in the app don’t seem to change anything (that I can notice) in/outside my Gen 1. Surprising no lock sound…

I do notice a few issues, touchscreen delayed response after the Halloween Costumes fun. Overall though nothing serious so happy about it. Looks like there may be one more version?

I have this same issue on a Gen2 R1T. Updates installed, costumes show as an option, I click to activate one, and the app says my Rivian is now haunted, but there are no changes to the truck. I have teh Halloween options in the vehicle, like sound effects for locking and zombies for pedestrians, but no costumes. I tried a hard reset and then a soft reset and still no luck.
