Vampire drain will not be solved for G1 IMO and there are multiple indications. I wouldn't hold my breath. Lights should certainly be possible.

It's not a pun, people are experiencing vampire drain of many % per hour because the "costume" is erroneously on or running, even if it's not showing on displays.

Halloween easter eggs are bonus features. These are free bonuses. These are not advertised standard features. You got the vehicle you paid for. Rivian does not owe you Halloween or any other bonus features.

This is pretty much what goes through my head every time I see (not bug-related) complaints about a Halloween mode. Unlike virtually everything else in the vehicle it’s an optional bonus: We should enjoy the parts of it we like or simply not use it.

What really bugs me about this post is that even without someone searching first, it could’ve been handled better. If OP started with questions (e.g. Why didn’t we get any special sounds this year? Am I missing something?) rather than a rant I bet the responses would’ve been almost exclusively helpful: more about the topic and less about how the topic was presented.

@Riviot thanks for showing that, I guess I deserved all the hate here for expressing my disappointment. Oh well, the world is full of hate, what is new. I thought we can have a healthy conversation but I guess I strike a nerve. We’re not even talking about politics.
I guess you all live a very happy and comfortable lives and there is no room for complaints. Reminds me of Jesus asking who wants to cast the first stone.
But I do appreciate those who simply say, “I disagree, I really enjoy this year’s Halloween mode. Let me show you how it’s done!”
Well, next time your employee or your kid or friend came up to you to complain, think for a second before you throw all that hate
at them because they seem to not appreciate as much as you do.

On the Trunk or Treat setting the front green bar acts the same, but prior is correct that there is only white and green on gen 1.

At least the green strip light on the rear works in trunk or treat mode. Good use of that which was a first for me in my Gen 1

Oh you’re so persecuted because you couldn’t bother to find out the answer to your question before complaining. Poor you. Instead of asking us to be nicer maybe next time figure out if your complaint is justified to make or just whining BEFORE opening your mouth.

The reception you received was 100% your doing, you earned the grief tossed your way when you whined about something and were wrong. Now you’re trying to play the poor me victim card instead of acknowledging your mistake, eating that piece of humble pie and moving on.
