Is there proof that Rivian is not prioritizing connect + memberships? Also, I consider firmware priority a fringe benefit of the membership. I don’t feel that it’s something that I am paying for. Basically it’s the cellular service that’s being paid for in my opinion.
I see no evidence of that. Though it does look like non-Connect+ are getting the update it coudl be a number of reasons including service center visits, employees, beta, etc. But from what I've seen on RR connected vehicles, they are prioritizing C+.

It seems C+ frustration is coming out of C+ customers having the expectation that they all get it at the same time. Even though C+ is being prioritized, everyone wants to be Customer #1.

I think this is a red herring because there are just fewer Gen 2 right now.

The reason I say, is because on.. ahem the other site... ahem I see that this number spiked for .1 but .30 did not go up... Also my buddy with a gen 1 texted just now saying that he just got queued up for download at about the same time I saw that number spike.

Is that what I think it is? haha

I can report that the clock on the rear screen has a mind of its own after the update. It shows the wrong time even though the front screens are correct. And, yes I did an infotainment reboot after installing the update.

The simple fix was lock/unlock the rear screen and it gets synced. Not sure if the problem persists later though.

Have you seen them stagger by generation yet? Looks like a few minutes ago they just rolled out another wave to Gen 1 only, but not Gen 2.

TBH I forgot that was supposed to be a benefit of connect+ until somebody on here reminded me that it's a thing. But the problem is when the majority of owners have connect+, it's not really a priority anymore since everyone is at the same priority level as you
Like TSA Precheck. Those lines are as long as non precheck at times

@Rivian Roamer, any chance we can get a break down of percentages rolled out PER generation? If I'm reading the site correctly, https://rivianroamer.com/software-updates, the "Eligible," "Installed," "Connect+ Eligible," and "Non-Connect+ Eligible" are all bundled between generations. I think it'd be cool to see where the rollout is being targeted per generation. Granted, more Gen 1's exist than Gen 2's but as more Rivians come online, I think the additional metric is useful.

I've considered it. I may add it but want to be mindful about making the UX complicated and hard to reason about. FWIW it's rarely been anything other than an even split.

I downloaded yesterday. Gen 2 R1S, C+ user. Initial use has some flaws. My assisted lane change with Highway Assist stopped working. I haven’t had an opportunity for hands free even though I’m sure 880 in the Bay Area is mapped out in their system. My blinker doesn’t turn off automatically all the time. Screen has been buggy.

The audio sounds slightly better and side window tilting is awesome. Just excited to try hands free.

I might do a software refresh but wondering if anyone else is experiencing similar issues.

So much fun with these updates. Love the possibilities that this tech offers all of us!!! I never mind minor issues when they move this quickly improving the tech. Keep em coming!
