Leases got worse today!!

I was hoping for a drop in price for the end of the quarter but prices went up at least 100 bucks today! I have been waiting to pull the trigger but I don’t want to put anything down on a lease and it’s still too rich for my blood! Still kicking myself for not pulling the trigger at the beginning!

Friends and family deals on the Gen 1's were nuts. I bought mine prior to that but wow those deals were insane.

R2 will be cheaper…but I want a truck. I had a 67k Audi for 600 a month:..with nothing down…I want that again! Come on Rivian!

I kind of doubt there will be more/better deals if tariffs begin to affect COGS at Rivian, which, they will.

As soon as R2 feels real in 2 quarters, they really won’t be focused on deals for R1.

Maybe when the Quad comes out they’ll do some minimal promo on Tri to keep it moving, but I don’t see any deals on Duals. They already got rid of free charging rewards.

Maybe I’m totally wrong, but I have a feeling the last very big deal was the F&F discount that ended in September.

I got mine back in August. Crazy good deal when combined with F&F, plus the EV credit, plus the great lease rates. Literally put $0 down (well…the deposit counts I guess, which was $500?), and it was less than my A5 Sportback (which was also a great deal since my buddy works for Audi). Just over $600/mo.

A smaller truck like an R2T would be so cool - maybe even a two seater? is that crazy? I've never had a truck so don't know what people prefer, 2 or 5 seat in a truck.

Still purchase deals to be had… if you take delivery before month end… $3K off DM Max and $4.5K off PDM Max.

sales actually reached out to me today ... mentioned we'll see something else come at the top of the month. i suspect it will be a financing type of deal ...hoping for a 1.9% again... praying for something on the tri r1t

With the economy concerns, on again/off again federal layoffs, tarriff roulette, etc. I think until the R2 ships, there will be rolling incentives on the R1.

Going to be hard to get approval on a lease today and the vehicle before the end of the quarter.

This is the time of year when everyone has money (tax season) in the eyes of the auto industry. Q1 is traditionally the slowest time of the year. Spring/Summer usually the hottest ...no pun intended. IF numbers are not what Rivian is expecting you may see more incentives ...as others have said...closer to the end of the quarter.

I am not expert but I would expect some who were in the market for R1S Standard Range to instead wait for R2...which...we may see early (complete speculation on my part). Rivian is making huge progress on getting R2 to production based on updates from RJ.
