Flashlight rattling in driver door - Gen 2 & 1 fix

Received my new Gen 2 R1T last month. I notice I would hear the flash light rattle in the door on bumpy roads. I never experienced this issue with my Gen 1.

To my surprise I noticed there was a lot of play between the flashlight and the housing. Maybe my vehicle is missing a rubber gasket or something. IDK.

I decided to fix it myself. I printed this part out of TPU.

I’m going to post the file on printables. If anyone else has a similar issue and I will provide an update with the link.

Found this thread when trying to find the source of my flashlight's rattle. Did you post this to Printables? I'd like to give it a try even though I have a gen1.

Just printed one out in Overture TPU for my '23. Was a quick install and seems to do the job - just like you see in the video. I guess you can update the description to say that it works with all R1s. Thanks for sharing!

Can the OP talk about the install? Mine seemed to take quite a bit of effort to install. I removed the OEM black plastic housing and was able to just get it too fit. What was the ID suppose to be?

I just got back from the post office to figure out the most cost effective way to ship these. The total price with shipping would be $9.50.
