My navigation automatically adds a charging stop to my trip regardless of distance I need to travel and even if I don’t need to charge.

Anyone experienced this issue?

Check your options. Sounds like you have the arrival state of charge set to high.

20%. It’s been at 20% ever since ; never was an issue. The only way i can get rid of the charging stop is to push on “remove charging dtop” button to in edit trip.

So even if you set it to the grocery store three miles away it routes you out of the way to a charger?
Yes. The nav will add a charging stop even for short trips. It just started doing that after I got back from a long road trip last week.

My first step would be the usual--reboot. Then as others suggested, check all settings for charging/trip rules.

Sounds like it is confused. Change it to 50% then change it to 10% and see if it clears the error.
