That's just what Rivian needs, a $120,000 price tag and more shades of gray to replace most of the good color they once had.

22 R1T Adventure Red Canyon
I recently was talking with my cousin about our grandfather's truck that we had so many adventures in when we were kids. We didn't say, "Remember Grangdpa's old Chevy truck?" Or "Remember Grandpa's old C10?" The first thing was "Remember that old yellow truck grandpa had?" That yellow late 70's Chevy C10 "Big 10" model is seared into our memories. If it had been black, white, or silver/grey, I don't think I would remember it as vividly as I do some 40 years later.

I've owned a lot of black, white, and grey cars throughout my life. When looking to buy my Rivian I decided I wanted a bright color so someday my kids will say "Remember dad's cool [insert color] truck?"

I looked at Compass Yellow and Forest Green, but decided on Red Canyon. I've never owned a red vehicle in my life, but the beautiful red-orange of my Rivian will hopefully live on in cherished memories of childhood for my kids long after I'm gone.

I haven’t seen anyone talk about this yet. Wondering if they made this change to make way for new colors for R2 in the factory and needed to make a cut to two colors. Wonder if those colors will be R2 exclusive or not. 🤔

Love both colors, but removing Limestone shocks me. I would have guessed it was the second most popular color behind white.
Very surprised by this as well for Limestone. It’s in the top 3 color I see in SoCal along with White and Granite.

Love my chameleon Limestone! 🩵

Traffic image from 1970s' and 2020s' shows just how bland we've become...

Now that's a depressing look at traffic for the wrong reason lol I was just pointing out to my wife yesterday how every car on the road was white or gray. To the point where I got excited seeing a navy blue Nissan Leaf. Small complaint given the grand scheme of things, but still sad nonetheless.

Interesting point, but doesn't sound like it. I talked to a Rivian person at a local showroom yesterday and it sounds like those colors are dead as far as they're aware. Doesn't mean we won't see anything new as far as the R2 is concerned, but the red canyon and limestone as we know it are currently dead in the water.

Makes me sad because it was going to be a race between White and Limestone for me if they had it available for R2. White it is
