Rivian R1T R1S Drivetrain screen no longer shows data IMG_1839

While driving in the mountains, I noticed the drivetrain screen no longer shows wheel data. Anyone else seeing this?

Haven’t seen that but reset(s) will likely resolve.

Hard reset did not fix the issue. Since it's non critical, I'll wait for the next software update for Gen1 R1T since I'm assuming it started after the last update for 23 R1T. Only 2nd issue I've seen. Although the first issue was a big one with 12v battery dying in my garage.

I had that happen once in my 2025 R1S during a drive from Phoenix to Flagstaff. That was early on in my ownership and was on 2025.10.30. It was either "solved" by ending the drive or by a soft reset, Not sure which now. Has never happened again.

Soft reset fixes it usually not a hard reset although in theory I believe a hard reset includes a soft reset (I think). This happened to me a few times usually after a software update and a soft reset fixed it every time.

It's easier to understand what they do if you use the right terminology. They are called vehicle and software restarts, not hard and soft resets.

I don't think either reset includes all elements of the other.

If one kind of reset doesn't fix a problem, do the other kind.

Generally the "soft reset" = "infotainment restart" = "software restart" will fix problems you can see on the screens (such as this one).

Best wishes!

Neither of them are wrong but congratulations on being pedantic. Well done and your point is taken.

Not being pedantic, just trying to educate and reduce confusion for yourself and others as your statements were demonstrably wrong. If your ego can't handle being corrected, then maybe a public forum isn't the place for you.
