I started noticing two SW updates ago that the auto ride height feature no longer seems to work.

Just today, I was driving 75mph and the ride height was still at Standard. The "A with a circle around it" icon was displayed next to the ride height in the driver's display indicating Auto ride height was active and the Drive Modes screen on the center display showed the Auto button with the yellow "LED" on it lit.

The truck still kneels upon parking and returns to Standard ride height once driving recommences. It just never lowers once I get up to highway speeds any more.

Thanks.

Ride height seems to work for me, but the kneel when parked has about a 50% success rate.

To minimize tire wear, I return our vehicles to Standard height whenever they auto-lower to Low position.

I would love to have the feature that @BrianNakata complains about -- stable ride height that changes only when we tell it to.

Best wishes!

No issue, just do a reset when something odd happens. Seems every update lives systems in a strange state, reset fixes everything.

How long had you been at 75mph when you checked? There's a minimum distance traveled before it will start adjusting, not sure what the number is though.

I recall that in the service menus there is a place to set the speed threshold for it to auto lower the ride height. Maybe yours got bumped up to a high speed?

I’m confused. Why don’t you just turn off auto ride height?

I got 36k miles on my first set of Pirellis using auto ride height. While this isn’t stellar, its more than “most" on here.

Auto ride height turns back on after a sleep. I generally only disable auto ride height if I'm on a longer trip or the highway is in especially poor condition since the ride is worse when the truck is lower.

Compared to earlier this year, my truck now seems to require a longer distance before it drops to low. Maybe Rivian made a change to limit the cycling of the compressor if you're right around the trigger speed (I think still 50 mph).

Ah ok. I didn’t realize it turned auto back on.

I turn it off on just about every drive. I think the "turn back on" threshold is around 3-4hrs. Just long enough for me to turn it off to drive to work, turn it off to drive to lunch, then turn it off again to drive home.

It's the equivalent of the "Auto stop-start" feature in my last two cars. Just habit now to go and turn it off every time I get in the truck.

Much like the RDU disconnect, Really wish I had an option to actually control those features instead of having to constantly adjust them EVERY.SINGLE.TIME.

I've had it on since day 1, going on 2 years. No issues at all.

I agree with prior posts on a reset. If that doesnt solve it-start a ticket.

In my Gen1 R1T quad, auto does not turn back on by itself after sleep or otherwise. I've had auto ride height disabled for over 3 years and it's never turned itself back on. This is just now after the truck being asleep all night:
Rivian R1T R1S Does auto ride height work for you? 13720

Update: I've seen it's a dual vs quad issue, got it.
