KEEP MY SETTING THE SAME AS THEY WERE WHEN I PARKED!
I hate that the screen setting revert to default everytime I get back in the truck. Why cant they remain as they were when I parked?
Too add a wish I would love to be able to customize the screen and select what I want to see and where on the screen.

I know everyone doesnt have this next gripe but I hate that I have to turn the music on everytime I get in, - why cant it pick up where we left off when I parked? or at least go onto the next song… I shouldnt have to turn it on again. Maybe it’s an Apple Music issue but it’s happened with the radio as well.
You can setup a play music shortcut and use an automation to play music when connected to Rivian.

But why? No other car I have ever owned makes me set up an automation to play music. Back in the 60's the worst you had to do was wait for the tubes to warm up. Your solution only works with iPhone users, how about the other 60% of the population?

Music should just play like when you parked and left the vehicle. You should not have to push a button or restart something or set up a IF THIS THAN THAT kind of thing. It should be built into the car. IMHO

Oh, I agree. It was never a problem in any other vehicle and it didn't matter if it was radio, cassette tape, CD or bluetooth, they all resumed. This was just my solution. There maybe an android equivalent but I just don't know.

In my experience with Android/pixel phones and Bluetooth, if you were watching or listening to something other than music on your phone before getting into the truck, it will not auto play music. You'll have to manually start that particular music app.

Additionally, some music apps have a separate setting for auto-play when connected to Bluetooth.

I’m sure I’ve mentioned it before, but give me more control of the features my truck already has with the app. It would be great to turn on bed light for example and access camp mode via the app. Seems possible/easy?

Yes. What about

Battery temperature
12V battery status
Recent trips info and efficiency
Lifetime efficiency
Since last charge efficiency
Lifetime charging total and discharge total
Since last charging discharge total

These are not frivolous bits of information. They let us know how vehicle is behaving under different conditions and weather. And someone may have more suggestions for sure.

When I start playing the radio, it plays a second of something jarring, and then goes to a more peaceful NPR. Please ramp up the volume slowly if you can't start on the previous station. Not a big deal, but you asked...

I'd like a "fob layout" screen in the app that I can set as default. The phone should be at least as capable as the fob. (There are fob functions that are not available in the app, such as "unlock all doors".)
When I press unlock on my app or widget it unlocks all doors. I thought that was how it was designed.

In no particular order other than what popped into my head:
1. Remote kneel mode. Passengers will often get out of the car before kneel finishes, and at that point I'm not going to wait the additional time for them to climb down, complain to me about the height, and close the door before kneeling resumes. Nor do I want to wait next to the car for kneeling to complete before walking away. But then when I come back to get back in I would like it to be at its lowest.
2. Music pausing options/behavior on open door. When I put the car in park and open the door I generally am about to exit the vehicle. I would like whatever I'm playing to pause or preferably have a setting to choose behavior on door open. Not a big deal for music, but If I'm listening to a lecture which I often am, I don't want it to keep going so I have to rewind when I start listening again. Related, why does the music have to go to virtually mute when I open the door. Either pause or keep playing. This is the worst of both worlds.
3. Charging tray. Tight fit at best for large phones, and some don't even fit. Charging seems to be very finicky as well.
4. Outlet in frunk (Gen 2 R1S)
5. Ability to keep middle row arm rest/cup holder level without seats reclining. I thought I had a busted seat at first but at the SC they told me this is normal. I would prefer my kids are more upright if they're going to be eating/drinking, not to mention it gives a little more knee room to the third row.
6. Odometer on the dash and/or screen always.
7. Charging history/efficiency. Even if just on a menu or the app.
I'm sure there's more but hard to think about it now

I think it's because you setup in car screen "behavior" to be unlock all doors. But once you setup to be unlock driver door only, there's no way to unlock all doors in app. In real life people may choose unlock driver door only as it's safer especially in urban or night situation. But once in a while you might have guests to show off your Rivian, to unlock all doors for everyone becomes a not so sexy maneuver, climbing over a very tall driver seat and hit that unlock symbol in middle screen. At least that's only way I know how to do it without a FOB.

One more to add to the list: Why can't I turn off the fan by tapping that "fan down" minus button? I can control the fan speed, and turn the fan ON when it's off by pressing the +, but if the fan speed is 1, that minus is right there but it's disabled. I have to open the whole climate control app and tap the on/off button.

I'm old school and miss my loud blinker click. The very low thump is different. but can I get an option to get the click vs the thump.
I would like to reduce the volume of the turn signal. Too loud for me

In addition to what others have mentioned, I would like a physical button to open the frunk when I arrive at the vehicle so that one doesn't have to pull out the fob or phone or open the vehicle to press screen button. Physical button for frunk would only work if vehicle unlocked (which would happen, for example, when you approach and PAAK did it's thing)

One more annoying thing as daylight gets shorter. Why do I have to turn on fog lights ever single time? I want to turn them on and forget about it. I know this will not be fixed, since G2 doesn't have fog lights. Hopefully, it will be fixed when R2 launches.

Maybe I'm misunderstanding your request, but there is a physical button to open the frunk. It's located on the underside by the grill - as shown in this picture. Sometimes you have to press it once or twice to wake the car before it opens, but it works great for me!
