I don’t know but when I’ve used the membership before on another vehicle it was like $500-1000 off. My guess is it is something similar. Whether it works on a lease or not, I don’t know. On my next Rivian, I’ll tell them I have Costco membership and see if it helps but I only lease these.

It's only a link to a generic costco auto program to search for a dealer that participates in the program. There's no Rivian dealer since it's direct sales.

I have bought 3 cars using Costco auto service and their typical deal is you deal directly with the fleet manager for invoice+/- agreed to amount with Costco.

Clearly Rivian does not have a dealers so the question is does Rivian offer fleet price at lower than the website listed price to their commercial customers and will that be extended to the Costco buyers?

Yep, that's how it worked for us on a previous F-150 purchase.

Every few months someone "discovers" Rivian on Costco. Its been there or a while. AFAIK, no one has ever bought a Rivian through Costco. There's never been an incentive offered by Costco. Not sure what the point is.

Although I consider these programs the "Bed Bath & Beyond" coupon of the auto world, I think it's a good sign. Every manufacturer (Ford, GM, Stellantis, etc.) offers some form of incentive through wholesale club auto services. BJ's (we are a member) has one as well. The discount can vary from $500 to $1000 depending on make... BUT, as we learned through BJ's, that "incentive" cannot be used with other manufacturer incentives (like a military, AAA, AARP, student, etc. discount). We tried to use the BJ's incentive when we bought our last Nissan. We did better without it. Same when we tried to use an AAA incentive decades ago when we bought out final Ford (Ranger).

To me, it says Rivian is getting close to mainstream. I will know when Rivian has arrived when I start getting spam Emails titled "B*U*Y Your RiViANN - 2DAY!!!" from "xpeHotBabe243 @ mac.edu.fr" with a tiny URL urging me to click here.

350 kW chargers look amazing. Although, I don't think I would be in and out of Costco in under 20 minutes. I actually think 50 kW chargers are the sweet spot for retail.
