Thank you! I had to go check and it is on. Both auto fan speed and auto-ventilate cabin was activated. I wonder if it’s an interplay between those settings. The auto fan might be related to the vents closing all the time but I’d have to do some testing to see.

It's not pushed out to everyone at once. It's done in batches. And you won't ever be notified to install it unless it's already been pushed to and downloaded by your R1S. And your R1S needs to have a solid WiFi connection to download it. If you want more awareness than that, link your account to rivianroamer.com. Once linked, the minute it's pushed to your R1S, you get an email alert from rivianroamer. If your R1S doesn't have a solid connection, this email alert let's you know when you need to connect your R1S to a WiFi signal.
Even among Connect+ subscribers it's done in batches. And that's to help ease data bandwidth demand as well as for sake of managing problems. Should there ever be a problem in software release, a controlled batch release is a lot easier to halt, fix, then reissue; instead of walking back a mistake after "infecting" a much larger part of the total fleet.
I'll donate to the charity of your choosing if you can get us a shortcut button to fold the mirrors on the steering wheel, and get geo-fenced folding mirrors..... not joking.
