if you connect to sunnylink, you can see many more options to toggle (i also have the same staging.sunnypilot.ai). auto lane change is in there along with various options for delays/nudges to initiate the change.

Guys, how do you download the version of sunnypilot that allows auto lane changes? Gerry, i tried using the branch that you installed in the “DIY Rivian autopilot” video but it wouldnt install (sunnypilot/staging-c3-new). I’ve downloaded the version i found on their sunnypilot website (staging.sunnypilot.ai) and that downloaded and works but it doesnt have a lot of the options that you were using in that video, including auto lane changes.

As mentioned you need to use the Sunnylink dashboard to change a lot of the settings on the Comma 4.

Very cool, i signed into sunnnylink and switched it over to auto lane change. It worked so good. My wife was impressed at how smooth it is. So much of an upgrade over rivian adas. The mads is one of my favorite features. I’ll take some pictures of the connections under the footwell this weekend and post in case it helps anyone.

MADS is such a cool feature that's so difficult to explain to anyone who hasn't used it before.

Got the Comma 4 installed, using the Comma provided harness (AXM modified with wago clamp), and Lukas longitudal adapter. Used Gerry’s fuse tap in 33.

Everything powers up with no errors on dash, but not sure if the Comma is working. Connected WiFi and installed openpilot, pressed down on the stalk one time on the freeway and it just enable regular cruise control. Isn’t a display supposed to show up on the Comma and steering/lane centering taking place?

The Longitudinal adapter is not compatible with Openpilot. It only works with sunnypilot. If you want to run openpilot, remove the connection to the upgrade.

Just beware there is a bug right now in Sunnypilot regard2ghe Longitudinal upgrade. Lukas and Sunny wlare actively working on fixing it, though.

There will also be ssvereal settings you'll want to change in the Sunnylink dashboard to take advantage of all the features that the long upgrade enables.

Is there any recommended list of features that should be enabled? Got sunnylink dashboard pairs, looks like I’m in business. Can’t wait to get this thing calibrated and start playing around.

It would affect both, but only if you're using the longitudinal upgrade.

Am I the only one who twinges when seeing Lukas' name misspelled?

I believe that the issue is inconsistent, but not sure. Right now I'm kind of checked out, in the stages of grieving because my C4 had a failure and it's out for warranty repair/replacement.

Sigh.

Having to ... drive.

It's not device-specific per se, but if you're on a Comma 3X you may be using the Master branch of Sunnypilot that hasn't had the Panda-over-USB deprecation change merged in yet. If you have a Comma 4 you only have the option of dev or staging, both of which have the aforementioned change merged in which is what is causing the issues.

I have a 3X and am running "release.sunnypilot.ai". Once the Panda-over-USB deprecation change is merged in, will I need to run a data blocker or will there be a change to SunnyPilot to fix it?
