I think he's confusing the post. All employees were emailed. 1,600 were selected for R2 deliveries this month.

My guesstimate is that is ~ 3.5-4 weeks of their early production run. We think we know when they started, so we should be able to work backwards and then forwards… to?

We'll find out soon, but it's been rumored that Crater Black is the only interior option at launch....

Because it's what most people get, so the supplies for it (fabric, leather, fake leather, etc) is cheaper due to economies of scale.

I would imagine yes, to test it out completely for ease of use, description accuracy, UX/UI features etc.. I figure we'll probably see images of THAT set of details before any pricing or options inclusion details might arise.
