I know right? I felt bad about taking the pics/video but my wife had her phone out without me even thinking about it. I don't think they saw us filming. Also, I kept it really brief when I met him. People can be so rude about it, but yeah, I felt like TMZ lol.

My wife said he is lucky I didn't have a seat right next to him....so RJ, what is the real conversion rate on the R2...how is the Georgia plant coming along...any new tech licensing deals with other auto mfgs coming soon...how many of the Q1 deliveries were vans vs R1s...when will the first R2s really be delivered. LOL, they'd have to land the plane to get the crazy Rivian dude off of it

So he walks by and then stops right in front of us, near the gate. I said "Rivian right?" and he said "yep", then I said "just wanted to say hello, I'm a big fan" (or something like that). Then he initiated a handshake and that was that. We saw him again as we walked by first class and then at baggage claim. You may be thinking of the OTHER electric vehicle company CEO who needs that, the crazy guy.

I'd recognize Scaringe any time, and a few other people like him. But don't think I'd recognize a Kardashian if she sat on me and I do know I've spent time conversing with some major football people without any clue. One I remember as 99, in PA I think.

The first question I would ask would simply be: "Have you ever had to use the horn on a Rivian?" I remain frustrated by the lack of a 12V outlet in the front, but the horn is the change that really bugs me. I'll be installing the Realwheels Horn Upgrade kit soon...

It's been years since I've had to use a horn in anger (ok, in traffic for a safety reason). But I occasionally use it for presence or awareness in places where NOT being loud is an advantage. If someone is just being stupid my priority is evasion, not telling them they are being stupid. I don't think it helps in most cases.
