Hoping I’m overlooking an obvious tire out there, reading on here and Reddit about common 20” options, but all have cons I don’t love….so looking for the following:

-20” (Gen1 R1S with OEM AT setup currently)
-quieter/smoother than OEM Scorpions
-look better than the Defender M/S2 (they’re pretty bland looking IMO which is a bummer)
-are not as heavy/slow/inefficient as Defender Platinums (we're mostly driving around our city/not highway driving, so the extra weight does matter for our efficiency/stop and go performance, from what I understand)
-I don’t care about off road performance but I do care that they have good wet performance (PacNW)

Am I missing any options or does the tire I want not exist?? Thanks in advance!

IIRC, the Goodyears are supposed to be relatively quiet. They're an AT tire (or, more like an AT-Lite), and they have the potentially disqualifying attribute of really poor longevity. It was in part their reputation for poor longevity that persuaded me to pass on them, leading me to get me a set of Nitto Terra 3 Grapplers, but those are more of a real AT tire and not as quiet as what you're apparently looking for.

Still, if your main concerns include decent looks and a quiet ride, you may be happy with the Goodyears.

Another AT-lite option (for more aggressive looks) would be the BF Goodrich Trail Terrains. I'm not sure how quiet they are, but they would definitely look better than the Michilein Defender M/S2, and also have a decent treadwear warranty. I've heard conflicting reports about whether they're good in wet PNW weather. Some say they are, some say they aren't, but most of that is from people mounting them on lesser vehicles than what you've got.

No such thing. But Goodyear Territory AT or Electric Drive AT are about as tame ATs get.

I've really liked the RIV-specific Goodyear Territory A/T. It meets most of your criteria, being a road-focused A/T tire that looks decent but is vastly quieter and more civilized on road than the OE Pirellis, and I like that it's now an OEM tire.

The big caveat is that it's a 275/60 as opposed to 275/65 so you lose an inch of diameter. It's easy to account for this in truck's software now, though.

You should look at the Continental TerrainContact H/T or A/T. They are phenomenal in the wet and should be very quiet. The A/T look great but are very on road biased tread pattern despite being an A/T. The only ? would be efficiency as they aren't really EV tires and can be a bit heavy.

I had the H/T on my previous Ram and their traction (esp wet), ride, road noise, and steering were excellent. Bought them specifically for wet performance since we lived in the Gulf Coast and got torrential rain and standing water often.

After 2 sets of OEM Scorpions, we went with the RIV OEM Goodyear AT. Great tires. good look, no noise, better efficiency. Rotated every 7500 miles. Last rotation at 21K miles tread was 8/10 . They start with 10/10. yes they are 1" smaller in Dia. or the trucks sits .50" lower, which ever you prefer for reference. Also price is good.

Rivian Goodyear all terrain are very quiet. However, the size would we 275/60r20 so they do look a little smaller

I have these because I wanted traction as a priority, not much improvement in range (if any) but traction is top notch. Just doesn't meet load rating not that I tow. It's no dws06+ but it'll do.

I'm still on my scorpions but have been researching a similar choice for range benefits. ignoring brands, I'd recommend that you switch from ATs to dedicated snow/all season tires, that change alone should get you range and lower noise from most brands with the removal of those side nubs/treads and less tread gap. Currently, I'm leaning towards a Nokian tire based on positive reviews from YouTube reviewers. I might try their outpost instead of below, but that's a 60 profile, and I want max height for rocks and such.
I'd love to hear from any current Nokian users, good or bad experiences.

Size is important, no matter what people say.
Indeed. I have the Goodyears and they’re pretty Goldilocks close for noise, efficiency, cost and looks but I want the 34” option! Not sure why GY won’t offer it.

I have Toyo OC AT3 EV. Quiet for an AT, handles great on the road, and offers some moderate off-roading capabilities. I’m actually about to order Hankook ION HT for summer tires for long distance travel to increase some mileage.

Check out this tool, its really awesome:

Quiet, smoother, not heavy, or inefficient means you're probably not going to get something that "looks cool".

Looking cool generally means large bulky tread, side blocks, etc (look at Rugged Terrain R/T or Mud Terrain M/T to see examples). Looking cool can also mean "race-y" like a summer performance tire that's very "flat" (think Pilot Sport Cup 2R, etc) but I don't think they make these for heavy EV SUVs.

...but maybe they do. My X5M was pretty heavy and had Sport Cups, but they were useless in anything except a warm summer day.
