It's a demo/commerical to demnstrate that the car's interior is easy to clean and up for dealing with familes and pets. If you think there aren't situations like this happening with almost all mass-market & nearly mass-market brands & you don't want to be associated with those, you're gonna be stuck buying cars that are high six-figure to seven-figure costs.

Some is easier to clean than others. I know out of spec has a detailer who compared cleaning a tesla interior to a Rivian and he said he found Rivian easier to clean. The owner of the Rivian was a farm owner/worker, so he had a lot of dirt and stuff in his Rivian on the seats and interior. So between the two, he did prefer cleaning the Rivian.
Having owned both, agreed. I will say, both with the light interior, stuff doesn't really stick or stain as much as one would expect. Not that the Tesla is difficult to clean, but a few wipes with a wet cloth on the R1 with a strong elbow just about kept it looking new for my duration with the vehicle.
I think you're missing my point. The R2 appears to have fabric on the dash, door cards, and seatbacks. The R1 doesn't have this. I'm curious how this will stain and how easy it will be to clean.
Good point. Didn't even think of this. Based on their past material selection, can't foresee it being too difficult. Even the recycled microfiber headliner on the R1 was relatively easy to clean (and mine was white).
