This thread is long. Has anyone mentioned Drive-ins yet?

Fax is still a mainstay in the exchange of medical records between different hospital systems, so I wouldn’t call it obsolete.Look up obsolete. It means no longer used nor produced. Both FM and fax are used and produced. Fax is certainly approaching becoming obsolete, but you can still buy, for example, multifunction printers that include fax capabilities, so still in production. On the other hand, FM is certainly not obsolete, and not rapidly approaching obsolescent, even if you and many others stop using it. There are far more still tuning in to FM than those who don't, especially in vehicles.
Pretty sure the R1S FM tuner causes a 1-2 second lag so you can’t use it anyway; I just was at a theater and bought a $10 radio. My kids (who know what radio is generally), were like “you can do that”? The concept of portable audio w/o using a phone was something completely foreign to them. This thread is long. So, about those amber rear turn signals that got removed…Although the thread has reached the over I’m considering launching a formal complaint with the commissioner’s office for thread packing
LOL, another example of how people assume so much that’s incorrect. You can throw a mini on the dash and it works fine. I have my full size hanging inside the roof. It works in motion of course.Without even commenting on how that doesn’t really solve the problem of being able to listen to sports/news/weather/traffic while driving (without a very intense setup, permanent mount of the receiver on the roof; and does it even work when the vehicle is in motion) I think a large portion of Rivian customers specifically avoid Tesla due to Tesla leadership, so this suggestion is funny!
Some of us are very close!Hold up - how close to the clearance are you driving your cars lol
Point to a product that you can't connect via Bluetooth to a Rivian (that isn't a cell phone). I'm super curious to see what that is.Because of the length of the thread I may have missed it but there is another issue besides actually listening to FM radio. Rivian has effectively blocked the ability to add third party devices by Bluetooth (unless through cell phones) or direct connection. A work around was an FM rebroadcaster. By eliminating FM totally that approach is gone. You are stuck with whatever “services” Rivian in its sole wisdom chooses to offer. Sounds like a $ grab to me.
Hey smart guy, I've never been able to pair this to send a telegraph in the Rivian.Point to a product that you can't connect via Bluetooth to a Rivian (that isn't a cell phone). I'm super curious to see what that is.
Do you mean the Sirius/XM Spa channel? What does the infotainment system allow us to access in the new R2 as it comes? I'm usually on a SPA listening selection as it helps me keep my urge to Road Rage under control. Some people call it elevator music. Will I still be able to listen to SPA content when getting my Rivian without jumping thru some work around?
