I want to hear what Rivian says about this kit before I put it on.
Will this void any warranties?

this may also have implications for the headlights.
Worth noting that the R2 has a headlight alignment tool built into the UI that owners can utilize. I haven't seen it in use but saw it in one of the recent review videos.

Unless Rivian sells these directly, they're only going to tell you that modifying your vehicle risks voiding your warranty on related components.

Thankfully R2 has a service menu to adjust headlight alignment!
So long as the lift remains within sensor range of motion which, given the very modest increase of this kit, should not be an issue.

What's this do to the warranty?
Often asked question. In a nutshell: No factory warranty coverage for any non-factory part. And, expect no coverage for damages caused by aftermarket parts—if said aftermarket parts are deemed to be cause.

Rare for any OEM to void entire warranty over installation/use of aftermarket parts. More common to deny coverage on specific repairs relating to said parts. Rivian is no different. Lots of existing info available online on the topic. Including legal information, like Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act (while a win for aftermarket, it is not one without caveats). One known example of Rivian black listing a car is one of those R1-based Nirvanas made by some yahoo in FL. One glance and you can see it's been modified far beyond reasonable doubt.

No need to wait for Rivian’s statement. It is not original equipment. Not covered by original equipment manufacturer’s warranty.

Another issue with simple spacer lifts: alignment. You may be forced to use up all available adjustment range and still not be within optimal specs. This means compromised handling/stability and rate of tire wear.

There’s a huge difference between how a modification officially and legally affects the warranty, and then the experience you may have at a service center. Rivian wanted to charge me $200 because I had put cargo rails in the bed, using the stock attachment attachment points. They claimed that they were in the way of them removing the exact same bolts that hold them on. The bolts they would have to remove anyway.

Since Rivian is generally disorganized and has no policies or direction on this, the highest risk is just delays and fights with the SC.

May need a calibration. On our Discovery when we went from 31” ATs to 32s it required a calibration for the ADAS.

Gives Rivian a reason to not warranty driveline/suspension components that are affected by this change. I wouldn't put anything like this on your car without being willing to take that chance. I know people like to bring up Magnuson-Moss about modifications, but there's quite a few things that could go wrong here since it's operating outside of Rivian's engineering expectations.
Exactly this. And yes, you can fight it and as long as you have deep enough pockets, you will likely win- BUT, Rivian will fight you right up until the end because most people will cave when their lawyers keep asking for more money. Most people are not willing to risk everything for their principles. Rivian legal has deeper pockets than most.

Extremely common to do a spacer lift to fit bigger tires. It will make it drive worse, higher center of gravity, suspension/tire angles won't be ideal at ride height affecting traction, over speed bumps you may feel the suspension top out more easily. BUT - 33s yo.
