Is that the way automotive aftermarket works? I acknowledged CV risk when we lifted Sienna some years ago. I just think that’s part of the game. If you don’t want the risk (and I don’t take on very much) then stay stock.
I’m not talking to you, unless you’re EVSportsline

That was a question for the board, re: your post. No “@“ to indicate otherwise.

You mod, you accept some risk. That's how it works. Forums are filled with people who like the idea of a particular mod, but want some form of ironclad guarantee that there is zero risk. Doesn't work that way.

That’s always been my understanding.

My 2” lifted minivan hasn’t had any nefarious consequences in the years that followed.

Nailed it. Every single deviation from factory spec has tradeoffs. Even in alternative tire choice.

Wait you lifted a Sienna? As in the minivans??? WTF?

But yeah, you buy your mods, that challenges are on you. This has been the case for decades, or basically, as long as cars have existed.

Warranty coverage on certain repairs. Rivian cannot—and likely wouldn't attempt to—void entire warranty out-right just for any single mod. The issue is not that black or white.

The conventional suspension on R2 is really going spur lots of different mod options. This is just the beginning.

SEMA probably will have many vendors with various mods for R2.

Very interesting. Can't wait to see folks add this to their vehicles and see what impact it has on capability as well as also range, comfort, handling. The R2 also has semi-active dampers so wondering what impact that has to the algorithms that control those since the geometry has changed.

This is a completely baseless insinuation of what to expect - everyone should simply disregard.

Our kit 'specifically' was designed to recenter the shock and maintain ride quality, in the first two seconds of googling that westcott kit I can see they didn't bother to do that. So ya, thanks, but no basis to this comment.
Sorry to bust your bubble but ask any suspension shop about collar lifts. Your compressing the springs for what they are designed for. I'm just here to keep the owners informed about the drawbacks of a collar lift.
