How are those 16mm rods when an M14 nut is referenced as the jam nut?

Ok thx. Seems like even the original post with the calipers seem to indicate 14mm also nuts but 16mm rods by caliper measurement. Hard to figure the part numbers.

I begged and pleaded the SLC service center for the 16mm tie rods, to no avail. And I made certain to let them know that the 14mm tie rods BOTH broke on the trail last weekend and left me very high and dry with an ungodly towing bill, along with Rivian's $3000 repair bill just to give me the original wimpy tie-rod replacements (and a few related parts...I guess more than just the tie rods were impacted), and that I REALLY don't want to have this experience ever again. Deaf ears...

So, I'm looking into the DHD sleeves. I welcome any advice on those.

I think the sway bar endlinks on my Toyota are thicker than the Rivian tie rods. They are made to break since the rack is really tough to swap. If I was wheeling it, I'd be sleeving the tie rods though.

Yikes! This is my concern, as well. My tie rods look like I could bend them by hand. The DHD sleeves seem like the obvious solution and at a reasonable price. Would love to hear from those with more experience.

Despite how often Rivian has talked about the importance of brand and branding... Just like the PTC retrofit, strange of Rivian to defer to each SC and leaving it to them to create a very inconsistent customer experience. Some CX head at Rivian is not doing his/her job.

Has anybody purchased the Broncbuster tie rod braces recently? Their website won't process a purchase and I can't find a vendor (Cali Raised Offroad is not selling them any longer). I've tried calling Broncbuster directly for almost a week and their line is always busy.
