Maybe if Rivian allows your running boards/sliders to be ordered thru them, they will stop having two standards on if they need to be removed for service or not (doesn't apply to me, but I've seen enough people tell these tales....)

Glad to see this partnership happening. Like others on this thread have mentioned, it would be a huge selling point for Rivian customers for you and Rivian come up with a running board/slider that is acceptable for ALL Rivian service centers. It is aggravating to have to remove the RB's purchased from you only to be told by Rivian they must be removed in order to be lifted for service.
The R2 specs indicate that they will have a 9.6" ground clearance which is higher than an R1 in kneel mode. R2's will not have an air suspension that will drop it lower. Both my wife who depends on the RB's on my R1T for entry and exit, are hoping that a RB can be developed that once installed can still be lifted by service centers without me having to remove them or be charged $200 to have them removed.
Love my R1T, but c'mon Rivian! Running boards/sliders on an "adventure" type vehicle should not be an unanticipated accessory!
