I feel you. 11/28/2018 pre order, bay area le/lg/20AT/bm and not a peep. I started seeing them driving around here so it's close...but the order of deliveries is a total mystery to me at this stage.

Please update us on the trade in value you get for your m3. Curious if prices are staying high on used teslas. Considering trading in as well but I love the car so it’s a tough decision.

Same boat, same reply from my guide. They don't know how it impacts delivery timing. My guess is they will soon make and deliver a bunch without it to test out the variance in their line for initial QC. I took it off to value engineer the cost a bit and I don't foresee myself doing any rock...

had the same thought, seems misaligned as well. if you look at door it shifts when latching, suggesting it's not lined up properly upon close.

Same. my vehicle was "in production on the line" in Feb. for Mar/April delivery, but then it's not....clearly... bay area, 11/2018 res, LG/LE/BM/20AT for the R1S.

Almost exact same situation and pattern but in the Bay Area. Also cross shopping the x turismo. Plenty capable off road based on our of specs testing. Only concern is breakover angle bc I live in the hills (east bay) and my current car drags on the ground.

Crap… I just got the email for my r1s. Mar/April original window, now dec2022. That changes the calculus a lot. Also not sure how people with identical spec in the same location who ordered more than 2 years after me Are scheduled to get their vehicles earlier. :). What a mess.

I think the r1s’’s in the video were the ones that were spied shooting a video of some kind. Same number and colors. Hopefully they are cranking out more. Tony’s email today did not inspire confidence in the timelines for r1s deliveries. Eagerly awaiting the update email on timing there.

I don’t own one yet but the first drive experience I had with the R1t was very similar and I have a model 3 dual motor. It’s all about the pedal mapping and distance. It requires way more travel to get the truck moving faster vs a flick of the heel/toe on the model 3. The end result is if you...
