I scheduled a service appointment for this, but it was legit killing me.
Has anyone experienced the rear light bar squeaking? We noticed it recently while driving on even the slightest hump or pebble in the road, and it’s gotten progressively worse.
I couldhandle it anymore so I decided to...
Always conflicted about this. They’re always super nice people and hard workers, and you want to trust they’ll do it right…but also, “discount” is in the name, so…..
Hey we made it into one of your pics. ;)
Agree on all counts except the doors - I noticed the difference but thought they were fine. They never had a G Wagen solid thump anyway. My wife however agrees with you and commented immediately on it.
I do like the wheels with the covers. Honestly...
Yep, I trust no reviewer on things that you start to notice over time. OOS Kyle has an advantage as he’s out 50k miles on his R1T, but all others giving opinions after 1 hour…they’re just initial opinions
New generation looks very nice and refined. Not sure it’s worth the $20k + premium over what our pre-price hike gen 1 cost…but maybe this refresh will make it actually worth the price now.

I’d normally say it’s the AC compressor but usually they’re a little bit higher pitched - it almost sounds like the air suspension compressor but I would still open the ticket.
Even if it is the AC compressor - it’s been an ongoing thing that these cars AC compressors are loud af.
As a favor to me as the OP, and maybe all of us, maybe yall can take the endless science debate to DMs? I don’t care who is right and I suspect others don’t either based on lack of replies, and it’s not even a primary point of consideration to the original post.
Thank you for your consideration. ?
i think I regret asking this question. I was simply looking for real world anecdotal experience from folks who have done this switch. I guess that wasn’t clear.
Looking to buy a set of 4 22” sport wheels. I prefer dark, but bright is fine as I’ll have them powder coated anyway. Tires included would be preferred but if not, price should be commensurate .
In Austin, but willing to travel to Dallas or San Antonio (maybe Houston for the right deal…).
