I received that 5 weeks ago when I "confirmed" my configuration. Then...crickets.
For trails in the Cle Elum area - 4wd and single track - you might want to look at the
Cle Elum Trails Off-Road Team group on Facebook. The admin of that group is Mikki Douglas who's the Cle Elum Ranger District trails manager.

I would be up for this on Sunday - my son in law invited me to the Mariners playoff game tomorrow. If you go I suggest lunch at Fidelina’s in Ellensburg
If you really, really don't want to go off road without a winch you can mount a 12k winch on a tray in the receiver...you'd have to source the 12vdc though and it could be 400-500a. A more reasonable option might be to travel with a kinetic recovery rope and a friend. And maybe a chainsaw in PNW...
I did most of WABDR Section 3 last month (in my GX). I would recommend Tronsen Ridge
via "Upper Naneum Trail #4W312". In the map below light blue is WABDR 3, dark blue is an easy route via LIberty, and red is an easy route via Blewett Pass. 4W312 is that little orange loop off the top of WABDR...
It was sent to me with an Aug-Sept window, locked configuration, guide assigned. If I placed any value on the words having meaning (I don't) it is telling me that they won't even THINK of building my car until the end of October.
When I got the invite three weeks ago to lock my configuration...
Thanks for the writeup - I was invited to lock my config this month but since I won't move off of OC (potentially FE) interior they're going to move my window (not sure how far).
I was wondering about the cross bars - it sounds like they didn't do enough engineering there.
The fan issue takes...
FWIW I was in Bellevue SC last week - they are expecting a “fleet” R1S first half October. They won’t let anyone touch a customer car. You can see some in parking lot but - at least at Bellevue SC - they won’t let you in the service area. Oh and they didn’t have either an OC or FE truck to show...
I stopped by the Bellevue (Seattle) SC yesterday afternoon hoping to see a new OC interior (in an R1T - it's not shipping yet for R1S) and the folks there said they are expecting to get a R1S fleet vehicle the first two weeks of October to demo to customers. They are taking that to mean that R1S...
While I'm still waiting on the R1S...we had dinner with a friend and his wife a couple of weeks ago who showed me his Badlands with now 5K on it. Both of us think it looks great. We drove it a bit and the interior seemed dark and bunker-like - we don't like BM and we didn't like that. He has yet...
We solved this by my wife saying she’s going to charge a cleaning fee if my dog rides in “her” R1S so I’m now modding the dogged-out GX470 for over landing.
Same-same for me. We danced all around what options I would be flexible on. Turned out the ONLY relevant variable is interior. I said anything but BM. He said they’re going to push out my window.
I'm R1S and I switched to Red Canyon - OC when they announced the new OC with BM wood. I just locked my configuration on Friday. I haven't talked to my guide yet so no real estimate on when it will be delivered but I have a largish bet with my wife it will be before October 15th. :)
