Getting it back from the body shop 3 months after someone backing out of a parking spot scraped down 2 doors and the rear fender was memorable... but having someone clip the front corner 4 weeks later while it was parked was even more so.

If they put it in Service Mode you'll lose Gary anyway. When mine went to Rivian for an alignment it was put in Service Mode and left that way until I picked it up. I hated it being out of contact!
I put mine at 100% but I fully expected at least 6-8 weeks. They'll watch it and charge it if needed because they don't want more work. I dropped the charge level to my usual 80% before leaving the truck and they had charged it to 80% when I picked it up.
Just keep on top of this. I took mine to a great local shop. When they got the original estimate check from the insurance company they went to order parts and could not. Weeks were wasted until they called and told me it had to go to a Rivian certified shop.

Due to issues with my car we couldn't wait for the R2 so we cancelled our reservation and bought the XC60 plug-in hybrid for my wife. She plugs it in every 3 days for driving around the island and doesn't have to worry about charging on the road when she takes trips.

Interesting as my R1T is all put back together but they can't seem to get the recalibration to work. They're going to try again Monday and then have the Chelsea Mobile Service come out. 9 weeks and counting.
I got the impression while dealing with a Rivian certified body shop that they had access to a back door for parts and assistance. They still had to send it to sman SC for an insurance ordered alignment, but they did everything else including recalibration.
