You cannot get an adapter today. And if you could, you couldn't use it on the superchargers. As we already can get an adapter why not start from today?

I’m not. I want to continue seeing build out of RAN, plus RAN opening up (access to federal funds). Same with TeslaPerhaps. But this quick adoption by so many companies looks like a massive overload of the Telsa Supercharger vehicle capacity to me when 2024 comes. Telsa owners should be getting pissed right now.
Good to see the competition. Not where I’m at almost 1/2 the price at CCS compared to Tesla superchargers
Nahh, just move the future charge port to the passenger side...Just fill all the stalls up with Rivians .. problem solved.
It will take more than opening RANs to other brands for it to get NEVI funds. They will need to redesign their hardware/sites. (For example, the current sites split power having the minimum a stall can get be 100kW, which is 50kW short of the NEVI requirement.)plus RAN opening up (access to federal funds).
March 1st, 2022 #NeverForgetDid you get the same e-mail as I did?
If people have to use a CCS adapter to use RAN that'll be the stupidest thing Rivian has done so far.
NACS Charger Drive ModeThe Tesla charging cables are short and on the wrong side. How will this be dealt with?
I wonder what the cost will be and what the adapter will look like?
I think people are so incredibly happy about this that they are not worried about paying $200 for an adaptor.I’m surprised that none of you has said that Rivian should give the adapters to early adopters for free. Lol. I’m sure some of you are thinking it.
Had that happen at Happy Valley. Guy spent 30 minutes trying to get a charge. Was going to tell him but every time I looked his way he looked away from me. Decided to let him figure it outThis won’t be anything new. I see this all the time in Sandy even with the SC stalls open Tesla peeps are using EA because it’s faster and cheaper.
I'm pumped, and a $200 adapter is a-ok in my mind. (though, it would be nice to to give existing owners some one-time credit or one-time break-even pricing)I think people are so incredibly happy about this that they are not worried about paying $200 for an adaptor.
