110V charging rate?

Happy to - Just click on the links! Since we haven't yet picked up a compact spare, I keep all of this in the spare well (along with my portable charger bag and my set of 4 pucks):

• 50' 110V Heavy Duty Extension Cord (for when I don't have access to a 240V outlet)
• Storage Bag for the 110V Extension Cord
• 50' 50A 14-50 Extension Cord (for when I do) - Note: This weighs about 65 pounds!
• 14-30P to 14-50R Adapter for newer dryer outlets
• 10-30P to 14-50R Adapter for older dryer outlets (like our last VRBO)
• Large Cable Storage Bag holds the 14-50 extension cord and both adapters

Because breaker boxes are often behind locked doors in VRBO units, you will want to adjust the amperage draw in the Rivian (on the Energy screen) to the appropriate level so you don't trip the breaker:

• 15A for the 110V cord
• 30A for the dryer outlet (although if you need 10-30P adapter I'd probably drop to 20A)

Agreed - thanks for the details. Heading to the San Juan in NM next week for some flyfishing and will be plugging in on the 110V to try to maintain some range (temps expected to be in the low teens at night and 30s during the days)

AirBnB is so frustrating when EV charging in a listing doesn’t say what kind of charging is present. The best listings show a photo of the charger or wall outlet. I’m also surprised at just how few listings have EV charging.

So far, I don’t see where you can filter VRBO listings for EV charging.

Our Airbnb in Escalante, Utah (theoldbaileyplace.com) has a Rivian wall charger available to guests. Hopefully Airbnb will make listing it as a feature. the best way to determine availability is to contact the owner and ask. I’ll add a photo of our wall charger. Those that know what it is will get it, others will wonder what the heck it is. <smile>
