I liked that the AC would turn on automatically because my app have a near 0% success rate waking my truck up so I can turn the AC on before I get in. Even just a few seconds before I got in was nice

I agree on this one too. I liked it better before. When they have items like this, where there could be two potential desires by the user, they should make things optional.

Sorry, I'm confused. Didn't 2023.26.00 get pushed out a week or so ago? Is this an update on the update because they've dropped a '0' (zero) off the end?

If it is an update (on the update) then I'm impressed they're pushing these out so frequently but at the same time, just get it right first time.

Also, anyone notice a load of vibration on the accelerator pedal when the A/C is running since this update??

YES.

And the doors handles stay presented at home. As long as the vehicle is truly off, I guess that's OK in my garage. Previously, it would lock, then unlock as I approached with key fob. Note: I almost always keep the Rivian app off except when I need info about the vehicle.

battery percent has been there since day 1 when working as anticipated, just didn't show up most of the time unless the speaker was on and the truck happened to recognize it

Mine has never shown the battery percentage and still doesn’t even with this update!

My R1T hasn’t received the update 2023.22 yet, much less this one. Annoying since I used to get the updates right after they came out. Anyone else have this issue?

It’s not an “issue.” Updates are released on a rolling window and not everyone gets them on the same time. I got the ABRP update last time 2 weeks after the initial people started downloading. This one, I got the day it was released. Just be patient and they’ll push it to your vehicle whenever its ready!

Edit: Just noticed you said you didn’t get 2023.22 yet, yes, I could call service on that one. You should have that by now.

Service can push the older updates and make sure your truck is in the queue for the latest one.

Just hung up with service and they agreed it was odd and will push it. I don’t worry about issues, Rivian has always been reasonable with me and Miami SC is great.

I just noticed this morning that the new update broke proximity locking "off at home". My truck now locks when I walk away even though I'm at home in my garage. smh.

Sometimes settings get reset during an update. Check and make sure the setting didn't actually get changed.

Same here, usually, but this time I was in the first wave. I guess they rotate thru customers.

That's the first thing I did, verified the setting was still set to proximity off at home. I even reset the display system using the 2 outer steering wheel buttons last night when Alexa would no longer connect to the internet

Is "Home" still saved as a location?

My favorite addition from this update is turning on and off the bed lights with the tailgate button. Sometimes it's the little things that help the most.

Good idea. I just went and scoured settings and then had to go to owners manual to see that the "Home" position is saved in the Navigation app.

Mine is set correctly in the Favorites section under Home.
