The last update, I was about 10 days later than many that reported herein.

This one, its updating now.

Go figure, I have no idea what logic Rivian uses to update the community.

This can't come soon enough if it fixes the Apple Music bugs. For whatever reason, mine is essentially unusable today with freezes and unresponsiveness. I even rebooted the display and that did nothing.
Only had it for an hour but Apple Music seems MUCH snappier and no issues so far. Loads quick, album art updates correctly, etc.

So after the update, couple of things I've noticed:

1) vent control is more responsive and effective
2) ac seem to run more quite and cooled downed the vehicle better parked in the sun

Another thing, I honestly didn't know that there was the accent lights around the dash and the door panels before the update. It's now set to violet (Trail something as Rivian calls it)

Anyone know if the audio that goes along with the color theme has any purpose/application other than when you are selecting themes?

I’m confused by this “auto” for the AC. Before I’d set it to auto and it was cool down the car, automatically choosing the fan speed, and adjusting the fan speed, automatically. That was good logic. Now it’s just like the regular AC but with less fan speed options? I’m confused…. ?

According to Rivian Tracker, no.

Seems just when picking color....which is odd to me. Why not use it somehow somewhere else?

I think this is just kowtowing to the people who complained about a "jet engine" sound from the AC. It you want to cool down fast, you set the fan to max. That's what I've done with every car I've ever owned. But with those other vehicles, I adjusted the speed manually, and with my R1T the speed adjusted itself. I thought this was a big improvement. Either way, it was loud for an initial period until the temperature dropped.

But now Rivian is giving you a choice to control the fan speed rather than let the vehicle do what it thinks is best to get it to your set temperature. This is a way to placate the complainers, but it does nothing to improve the performance.

Well then.....time to start complaining, whining, throwing fits and acting entitled....that we want automatic HVAC back.

Maybe they will later on. Would love to someday have themed lock and unlock sounds, for example.
