So far doesn’t appear so. In 7 hours so far today, I have 0.6% VD.I'm sure that 2024.31.01 fixes all of the parasitic drain issues that 2024.27.01 introduced . . .

I wonder who wants a fan speed higher than what it needs to be to maintain temp in cabin?
I think there's more to it than just the temperature difference of the air - with faster moving air you get more evaporative cooling and heat removal than slow air. Both of those are factors in "real feel", and "wind chill" that the weather people talk about. My personal experience is that faster moving air always feels cooler. I'd rather be at 95 degrees with a 10 mph breeze than 90 degrees with 2 mph breeze. When I ride my motorcyle at 50 mph on a 90 degree day, to me it feels like 70 or 75....But.....what provides more cooling? More air at a higher temp....or less air at a lower temp?
No it's not. It's physics and biology. Human body evaporates moisture all the time which is a significant part of how cool we feel. It's why we sweat.Which has nothing to do with cabin temperature, unless your upholstery is wet…
Obviously this is an absurd position in an absurd argument about what comes down purely to personal preference.
Makes sense. I do like idea of being able to override automatic fan speeds. And hoping the low, middle, high settings are a range of fan speeds the computer can pick from. Thus high would move more air albeit at higher temp and low then would be less air at lower temps. But each would use some level of fan control up down.I think there's more to it than just the temperature difference of the air - with faster moving air you get more evaporative cooling and heat removal than slow air. Yes. But different people find different things to be more comfortable. For example, I am one of the people who loves to have the AC blowing directly on exposed skin, while my wife prefers to have it blow away from her, and just cool the overall temperature. No it's not. So you’ve gone fromYes. But different people find different things to be more comfortable. For example, I am one of the people who loves to have the AC blowing directly on exposed skin, while my wife prefers to have it blow away from her, and just cool the overall temperature.
We actually love the vent presets for this reason, no more annoying fiddling with vents after the other was driving!
toPeople who don’t understand physics.
Well done!Indeed, because it never seemed like a particularly serious discussion to begin with.So you’ve gone from
to
People who have different preferences.
Well done!
Fixed it for you...I dont see anything about fixing Dolby Atmos volume control for Apple Music. Volume at 1 too quiet, 2 too loud. Above 2 is teenager level and old people who can't hear sh!t these days...
And all cases would avoid my usual situation:If I was programming it, high would obligate faster than necessary air speeds even once cabin is close/at temp. Medium would be like it is now, and Low would obligate slower speeds when the cabin is still way far from the desired temperatures.
Really hoping for Red only lighting one day as part of a “night-vision” / astronomy mode. Seen something like this teased in the R2 software (on the screens at least).Anyone else had all videos disappear from gear guard after the update? This morning there was a notification on gear guard event but nothing in the folder.
On a separate note, surprised there is no red for accent light, such a simple color to do…
I suppose unsurprisingly, after playing around with it rapidly, I ended up in a state where the cabin was still quite uncomfortably warm, and the HVAC was in auto+high, and the fan was barely blowing at all. Air that was coming out was quite cold though. Turning HVAC off and back on left it in the same state. Ended up dropping out of auto to max the fan speed out.If I was programming it, high would obligate faster than necessary air speeds even once cabin is close/at temp.
