2024.47.0 Update Spotted!

Down loading update now. Reading the. ”what’s new “, I see nothing on acceleration optimization in any mode. Am I missing something? Accelerate Faster faster faster!

Same, I really had my hopes up that they were going to fix the laggy throttle response in AP mode. I haven't driven the truck yet, but I just read the notes 10 minutes ago and there was no mention of acceleration.

I think the day/night chip/owl switched from ambient light to time based?
It used to hoot in my garage, but it is chirping now!

also noticing a motorcycle supposedly tailgating me on my driver visualization occasionally, but disappears after 1 second. (but I think this was there before this update too)

I did also notice the wheels that show acceleration amount on the stats page during drive is pixelated as others reported.

I dont' know about you but I'd take extra vampire drain over my 12V dying prematurely.

Just installed.

- phone app acts weird on iOS and shows that it’s going through the install, with progress indicators, AFTER it already installed on the truck.
- 3 months in, they still haven’t fixed the drive cam they murdered on my truck. Perfectly fine USB stick not recognized (despite working for months prior). Renaming it “Road Cam” didn’t fix it. Go figure.
- Trip B meter still corrupted from previous Halloween release corruption. Lifetime measurement lost I guess.
- I switched to Jingle and heard it, but can’t figure out any other Christmas tricks.
- Watched the Superman trailer.

Just installed. No issues whatsoever Gen 1 R1T. I then removed my EV1 display unit (which was a godsend for a full year) and signed up for SiriusXM. It's a pity I cannot use my existing XM accounts for the R1T, but the price is pretty minor.

So far, so good.

It was erroneously in Gen 1 but it was qualified with "Tri Motor".

The original notes didn't even mention tri-motor. They were as they were on the first post of that thread:

• Enhanced acceleration in All-Purpose mode.

Doesn't really matter, I don't really expect Rivian to fix this shortcoming anyway, but there was a brief glimpse of hope. Someone is making the decision somewhere that the drive modes will all be suboptimal with less power up top for sport and less power down low for AP.
