2024.47.0 Update Spotted!

The original notes didn't even mention tri-motor. They were as they were on the first post of that thread:

• Enhanced acceleration in All-Purpose mode.

Doesn't really matter, I don't really expect Rivian to fix this shortcoming anyway, but there was a brief glimpse of hope. Someone is making the decision somewhere that the drive modes will all be suboptimal with less power up top for sport and less power down low for AP.

Yeah I'm guessing that was someone's summary. I have access to all versions of the release notes and none of them stated non-Tri Motor.

I had forgotten about the “enhanced acceleration response” line item this morning, and had a brief thought that our R1S felt like it was a little peppier (ok truthfully I thought “wow this cool air is bangin’ for the turbo” and then I remembered I wasn’t in the Cayman; been driving that one around with the nice weather lately ?). Then I remembered about that, and I can say I feel a slight difference.

I have been in the camp that there’s a little too much pedal travel from a comfort / convenience perspective, so YMMV. ?‍

I signed up for Connect+ this morning and about 6 hours later, I got a notification on my phone that 2024.47.01 was available to install. The R1T had been parked at home with wi-fi available during that time.

I got the update this evening when I got home and connected to WiFi. Connect+ trial.

All but two of the vehicles being tracked on Rivian Roamer that received .47 had Connect+.

I’d say they are moving along on this update, over 80% of the vehicles on Electrfi either have it installed or presented for download already.

Over 460 vehicles on Rivian Roamer. The rollout for today paused later in the afternoon. Rivian generally starts them round 11 AM PST and they run until mid afternoon. All Connect+ should have received it by now.

The remainder will likely be non-Connect+ tomorrow.

No c+ - patiently waiting. I know C+ subcribers pay a premium for getting it early so I must learn to work on my patience and wait - I absolutely see value in C+ and plan on subscribing in the new year after all my Christmas expenses have cleared

After the install my "seat of the pants dyno" on the way into work this morning says the throttle has been remapped to be more responsive in All Purpose mode for my Gen 2 PDM.

Installed the update yesterday and now my phone key stopped working. I also can’t lock the vehicle with my phone. Tried forgetting it from my Bluetooth devices and redoing the setup for the phone key, but it keeps connecting to the old key in my Bluetooth devices and setup doesn’t complete. Reached out to support and they’re saying I will have to bring it in for service. I also tried hard resetting the infotainment and the vehicle itself, none of it worked.

try resetting all settings in your car or creating a new profile.
