I haven't noticed a big change to the suspension, but I didn't have any complaints before. The biggest change I've noticed is that the truck sleeps way longer now and wakes up much less frequently. Last night my phantom drain was HALF what it has been over the last few weeks.
Gen 1 or 2?

Maybe Rivian took some tricks from rally mode and applied them. Anybody familiar with the patented koni special active? A revolutionary shock design.

Updated last night. Gen 1, no major bugs that I e noticed, ride seems slightly smoother. Smart turn signal didn’t really work for me though.

Yep it's a 2023 Gen 1. It's sleeping twice as much since the update which is unexpected but awesome. I tried some bumpier bumps this afternoon and it does seem a little less... bumpy too.
I notice the sleep pattern changes immediately after each update but stabilizes after a couple of days back to a normal pattern, whatever that is.

Huuh, I updated last night and it did sleep longer, right up until I left for work. Will have to watch it over the weekend and see what kind of improvement I'm getting. Good timing as I just installed a bluetooth 12v monitor last weekend.

And yes, the suspension is noticably better at low speeds. I leave my work parking lot and go over a speed bump at an angle and it was really jarring, today it was like 60% smoother, amazing. Best update for Gen 1s in a long time!

When I took possession of my R1T in September 2023, the first negative thing I noticed was the rear suspension harshness over expansion joints and sketchy roads. A day later, Rivian sent out an update that specifically addressed this issue. I couldn’t believe that Rivian was not only reading my mind, but was also prioritizing my personal concerns 😊 What a great company/vehicle 👍 Over the last 18K miles, it sure seemed like the rear suspension was regressing, getting harsher and looser, to the point it was getting a little concerning. Now, with this latest update, the ride is better than ever!! I love it!

Thanks for making this list. I would not have thought to check my tonneau. Luckily mine is still working fine.

I did do a vehicle reset and then later when I tried to back out of the driveway the display told me I needed to reset it. So I did the infotainment reset.

TuneIn logged me out but Spotify was fine. I don't use the other services.

My PaaK stopped working after the last update so I deleted the key and set it up again. After this update PaaK stopped working again so I deleted it and set it up again. The entire process takes less than 5 minutes so it isn't a big deal, especially since the truck was already unlocked and sitting in my garage. Maybe outside in the rain with the truck locked a failed PaaK would bother me a lot more. Still, I have the card key in my wallet...

I can't say if the truck drives smoother or not. I don't think it does in the lowest suspension setting. I have not had the truck long enough to really judge, through.

This is what I was hoping it was when they mentioned it in the release and is what it feels like. Significantly softend up the cross-linked hydraulics to act like a very soft sway bar. It's definitely not as rolly-polly as Rally, but it's closer..

Far more luxurious ride over potholes and other one-wheel impacts.

I found one bug: Charging filters on the map are broken. Pay attention to the 3 different speeds - you can only see one speed at a time now regardless of how many you select.

I also didn't notice any changes in sport, which IMO makes sense - it should be as taught as possible without being a straight up brick.

Gen2 R1T majorly F-ed after update. Screen was blank. Did a soft reset, no luck, full reset and it came back on. Navigation is totally wonky, jumping all over the place, randomly picking spots on the map asking if I want to add it to my route then impossible to make it go away. Switching to 3D map seemed to fix most of that, so doesn't seem to be a screen or GPS issue. Keeps switching randomly into Snow mode and when I tried to switch back to All Purpose it keeps switching back to Snow. Screen response is horrible, no touch response for seconds in the music apps.

This was all during a drive after the update so didn't really have time to do any more resets and was afraid to lose the screen again. Will try try some resets today and obviously contact CS.

Update: After full reset A/C was stuck on Low, blowing cold air full on, changing temps it kept going back to Low. On a whim I went to the map and it had switched to 2D so switched it back to 3D and temperature worked. Switching to 2D again made it go back to Low. So weird. Full reset again when I got home and sitting in the garage seems to be ok, even with map in 2D. 🤷‍♂️

Update 2 (in case anyone has similar issues with the update as me): Three hard resets and the truck is finally acting normal.

I'm getting the quiet Alexa and my SXM favorites were wiped out.

Anybody see an increase in their efficiency? My round-trip commute usually eats up at least 10% of my battery, but yesterday it only used seven or 8%. It has been a little bit warmer here in SoCal, but I have never seen that kind of efficiency and I’ve been doing this commute for over a month a year.

Is there a way to turn it off?
I do lane change in bulk all the time…
I checked it on the highway this week both with and without trailer. If you quickly change multiple lanes the blinker doesn't turn off until you center in the last lane. If you slowly change lanes it will turn off at the first lane that you change into. Overall I really like this feature as it is reducing my accidental blinker activation when I have ACC/ADAS activated. I am already changing my habits to only turn blinkers on and most of my daily commute is highway.

It is odd you say that, I might be as well but it is also warmer. What kind of numbers are you seeing? What sort of mpk readings if you track that?
