I don't have a huge following or high view rate when I was making videos (link in my signature) , the payout isn't much for lower level content creators. I hasn't been worth the effort and doesn't fit my life.
He Set-up website, runs multiple social media accounts, makes youtube videos ..so everything about his truck is business expense...it's playing the game better than us. More power to him, plus he's probably getting plenty of referral credits.

While I agree that it doesn't seem like the most useful implementation, it's erroneous to say that it requires a cell connection. For push notifications, yes, but for TOTP, you simply need the app, not a data connection.I fast forwarded to what piqued my interest, PIN to drive. It seemed overly complicated having to use your cellphone for it. I know of several places where there is no cell reception.
Forget something extremely easy and user friendly to use such as plastering a keypad on display screen for user to enter PIN.
As I said before, Rivian, if you cannot talk to Tesla engineers on how things like this are done right and easy, perhaps buy a Tesla and go over it. And learn.
