Got the update for my wife's S last week, my T still nothing, but it's been sitting in a place with crappy cell service for weeks (no wifi), so that's probably part of it. connect+.

It does not. I explained this on another thread, this is how it works with Google maps:I tried searching, but I have yet to find anyone report back if the new map software reports red light camera's, speed traps, etc?
So disappointing; but not surprising. I've never in my life, committed to a new car with so much disdain before. I was 100% sold on the Lucid Gravity until I found out they won't lease to a business. Fingers crossed they can get this basic functionality in an update soon.It does not. I explained this on another thread, this is how it works with Google maps:
1) You must be logged into your Google account (not possible in the Rivian)
2) You must also be navigating, not just displaying the map (unlike Waze)
I do have this feature on my GM vehicle, but it allows me to log into my Google account and treat the vehicle as a device. It has the reporting button on the map as well.
I agree it is disappointing. It is too bad that Rivian will not fully support the Android Automotive features that other OEMs do. Most allow access to the Play Store and allow logging into installed apps, just like on your phone. So disappointing; but not surprising. Send feedback in the app. I have and hope that with enough, they'll address this. Be detailed. I find it very interesting that you're having the same dark/difficult to read maps in the iPhone app that I'm having on Android. Clearly, they are not doing night/dark correctly.I am an iPhone user. On my phone I can read both Apple maps and Google maps just fine in dark mode. My GM truck runs on Android Automotive and it is also very readable.
I just opened the Rivian app on my phone and the map rendering there, using Google is not very clear, the background is definitely darker than Google maps. But the Rivian app is not displaying all the street names, and that is my biggest complaint in my Rivian, the font is gray on top of black, it should be more white to read that tiny font size it dark mode.
Me toWait, there's an update? (A non-Connect + user)Still waiting....
Just got it yesterday. Shouldn't be long for you.Me to
"kids"yes it uses cameras. I know because kids spray painted a 30mph sign to make it read 80mph near me. The Riv says 80mph every time.
