3D printer peeps: models of Rivian interior spaces?

I've never 3D printed anything but all the DIY activity around here has me feeling inspired. I also happen to be pretty familiar with SketchUp, having used it for remodeling and random woodworking projects.

I've seen a lot of folks share designs of their prototypes on here but wondering if anyone has modeled any of the key interior spaces of the truck (e.g. the center console)? I don't have a truck yet so can't really measure anything but if someone has the interior spaces modeled, other people (like me) could tinker...

Another question: if you don't want to plunk down down on a 3D printer, anybody know of good resources for sending your designs and getting a printed thing returned in the mail? I'm sure they exist but wondering if people have favorites. Thanks in advance!

I am far from an expert, but I have used https://i.materialise.com for Polyamide SLS prints and the results met my expectations.

I've tried enough 3D printers that I know that they're just not meant to be for me, the same reason I don't own an italian sports car from 1992, I just don't have the time, or money, to give it enough TLC to make it go. So, I use https://xometry.com for any prints. Some local libraries have them, and there's usual some sort of Makerspace in most cities, but for me, easier to just submit the file and wait a week

Xometry looks awesome but also looks very um corporate? Like, they have testimonials from BMW lol... They will actually print my dinky one-off DIY project or will they laugh at me?

Ah, I see they have local branches (and have one in my city). It's like 3D kinkos...

If you can output your files to "STL" format, I may be willing to print parts for you. I have three, 3D printers and access to a 4th if need be. Curious, what types of parts are you wanting to print?

I haven't even started tinkering (yet) and I'm still awaiting delivery of my truck (this week? next? waiting for the call from the SC...) But because I lurk on these boards, (1) I know there are a few storage/organization challenges, (2) I am comfortable making shaped things in 3D software, and (3) I am interesting in trying to print a thing or two... That's all.

Unlike some of the other more industrious members on the forum, I'm definitely not going to start a business or take bulk orders or anything like that. Just looking to tinker and solve puzzles.

Tinkering is really what 3D printing is about for me. Its fun and satisfying to look a problem, think of a solution and create a "thing" from nothing but your thoughts and a little bit of CAD work. Rapid prototyping is its strength. Not really a mass-produced component solution. FWIW, I use Autodesk's Fusion 360 for my designs.

Do you use the free version? I wasn't sure if Fusion allowed exports for slicers with the free version.

You can use the free version for 1 year. It used to be 100% free but, they have been forcing people to a sub model for the last few years.

It’s actually still free after a year, they just make you go through a little bit of pain to get your subscription going again. It stops being free after you start making X amount of money from using fusion 360 (I don’t remember what the amount is).

Has anyone come up with anything for the empty space in front of the cup holders? Usually I leave that space empty for random bag storage, but I would like something useful I can drop in for long car rides.
