This one, that one and the other one.

I know there are many other colors, but between these two, genuinely curious which do people prefer? These are for the more conservative people that aren't willing to go with the more bold color choices Rivian offers.

If those are the only two options you're considering, then I'd go with white.

Black is hard to take care of on any vehicle, and I don't think the R1T looks good in black, anyway.

I have seen white in person and really liked it. Not too bright and showed off the lines of the R1T. I’m not a fan of black in general for the most common reasons- very hard to keep clean and the paint will show every imperfection. Bird poop, sap, surface scratches, etc.

I went with white because it hides the most paint imperfections, which drive me crazy. Black would definitely be a no because it would show anything and everything. I actually plan on keeping this vehicle for more than our normal 1-1.5 years, so white was a no brainer for me. I am very happy with the white and it looks great in different lighting.

Between those 2 colors it’s white for me. Black looks amazing for 15 minutes after it gets washed, then it looks dirty/ dusty until the next time if you don’t wipe it off almost every day. I won’t do that again. Right now I have a white Tacoma with black wheels. It looks great and I don’t obsess over how clean it is every day like I did with black.

I'd go with black. I don't care about high maintenance as RC is worse than black is.

Same dilemma. I can’t stop thinking about black with a satin PPF wrap. Seems like it could have the benefits of black without the high maintenance. Definitely looks awesome, especially murdered out with full black wheels.

Looks cheap, imo. To each their own.

As pretty much anyone who's owned black vehicles have already said... black shows every scratch, every drip, every swirl, etc.. White also has issues, but way less than black.

If you want the lowest maintenance color.. go with LA Silver.

Yeah, same here. Where (and when) I grew up, a car in matte black, matte gray, or matte pink/red meant the car had body work done and was in primer. The next step would be a shiny paint job… when the owner could afford it. I see plenty of very expensive cars in matte finish here, and I still think they look cheap.

White, because it's free (pre-price hike) and has the highest resale even though I don't plan on doing that for 10 years.

I look at it like this: I can spend $2500 for the blue/yellow I want or I can get white, which looks amazing and lets me buy something else to put on the car that's actually functional. There's just not $2500 of upside there for me.

I hate to be the cheap one of the bunch, but white looks good and is free. Barely a compromise for free is compelling to me.

Money no object I'd still choose white over black because black is too serious. It's just not on-brand. There's no "fun" in black and the Rivian is a "fun" car. Like a murdered-out Jeep looks good because it's got that military kind of flair to it, right? Is that really a thing that's easily channeled in the Rivian?

Don't get me wrong, I'd never kick a black Rivian out of bed, I just feel like you're taking a VIP to an airport with a black SUV, especially, in a Rivian.
