Cabin reads too hot?

Has anyone had their truck read cabin way hotter than it is? I just got my truck Saturday, but I checked the cabin temp today on the app and it has ranged from 109 - 115.. The high today has been 74.

I would think even if in the sun, that is a drastic difference.

I’ve noticed the same. App says cabin is 90+, but it certainly isn’t quite that hot in there. ?

Yes…. And additionally the speedometer on 20s is also off about 4 mph faster than actual. ?‍

When Kyle did the 70 mile an hour range test it was off by 2 or 3 mph as I recall. (he was on 20s as well).

My outside temperature sensor seems to be way off as well. A few weeks ago it said it was 112F outside. When in reality it was maybe 93F.

Stick a thermometer that will record a maximum temperature in your other car parked in the same conditions and you’ll find similar temperature

Yes and Yes…my app is also seeing the cabin temp in Celsius though. Do you know how to change that? Haha

How to switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit in iPhone or iPad Settings

1. On your iOS device, go to Settings → General → Language & Region.
2. Tap Temperature Unit at the bottom.
3. Select if you'd like to have quantities of temperature displayed in Celsius or Fahrenheit.

Didn’t fix it for me but my settings were already correct of US/F and it’s still showing C. I don’t care a whole lot but sorta funny.

I still think the temp is funky. Maybe too close to battery? Said 100° after going for a ride with ac running and I’m in Florida.

Change it to C then back to F and that should fix it.

Make sure the Rivian app is closed and change it again in iOS settings (if you have iPhone). Then re open Rivian app. I’m in Florida too, Jacksonville- what about you? My cabin temp is always hot haha

Cool! I’m NW of Orlando. Just opened it now and and it’s in Fahrenheit which saves me having to remember how to convert. Waiting for the .15 update to push. I’m still on .11
